BBMRCC Spring Road Race 2015. – Results and Report
Joe Clarke wins BBM Revolution CC Spring Road Race

The third BBM Revolution CC Spring Road Race covered 55 miles and 10 laps of an open, exposed circuit around Pollington in Yorkshire.
The race got underway to an aggressive start in near perfect early season conditions as Matthew Bulmer, Jack Ibbotson and Kieran Simcox attacked straight out of the neutralized zone.
Despite a series of attacks from the peloton the trio managed to hold a gap for the next 40 miles which never grew to more than 45 seconds, until a David Johnson, Mark Stewert, Ian Taylor and Joe Clarke finally broke clear and make contact with the leading riders. This ignited further attacks in the peloton who were only 15 seconds behind the leading group of 7 coming into the bell lap, with 6 miles to go.
With one lap remaining, the result was impossible to predict as the leaders looked well organised. As the spectators waited on the finish line to see if the riders would come together for a group sprint, it was two riders from Envelope Master and Bikebox Alan who emerged first into sight, with Jo Clarke taking the 2 up sprint from Kieran Simcox who had been out front for the entire race.
The remnants of the break managed just managed to stay clear of the chase groups splintering off the front of the chasing peloton which splintered as small groups strung out along the finishing straight.
