Ride Information

We have a regular timetable of weekly rides to suit all ability levels in addition to extraordinary events that we plan for club members from time to time. Our rides have been categoriesed by ability:

Beginner: Suitable for anyone who can ride comfortably on a bike for a few miles. The pace will be very steady and nobody will get ‘dropped’ from the group. If you are unsure of your fitness levels, start here and then move up to intermediate rides later.

Intermediate: After you’ve been riding a while you might want to try an intermediate ride. A little quicker than beginner rides, usually between 16 and 18 miles per hour.

Advanced: These rides are quicker still. You may see some of the Race Team on the ride, or other competitive cyclists riding with fitter leisure cyclists. The pace can be anything from 19mph upwards.
